It is then revealed that Pete is Ahsha's biological father. Derek Roman is immediately attracted to Ahsha and his feeling aren't exactly rejected more like postponed.
He on the other hand makes multiple advancements toward her only for them to be deflected. In the next episode " Game On " Ahsha continues to reject Derek's advances.
Still being loyal and in love with her boyfriend German. Throughout the episode they are training for the opening performance for the beginning of the season. The director of the Devil Girls Olivia sees Ahsha's potential and wants her to shine so she offers her a spot in the front of the performance, so that everyone can see her and her talent.
But before the performance can even happen Pete, who is still struggling coming to terms that Ahsha is his daughter asks Sloane to come and further explain things which she does, but this leads to Jelena, who hates Ahsha, to overhear them talking about Pete being Ahsha's father. Then right before the performance Jelena who wants Ahsha to fail tells her about her father and the he is Pete.
This causes Ahsha to run away from the performance and confront her mother, who admits that it is true. This angers Ahsha because her mother had lied to her for her entire life. She then moves out of her mothers house and moves in with her boyfriend, who supports her throughout this dilemma. In episode three " Out of Bounds " Ahsha is still upset with her mother for keeping the secret.
Having missed the Devil Girls dance at the oping games, Ahsha is confronted by Olivia, who is angry that Ahsha threw away a gold given opportunity. Olivia is ready to fire Ahsha for her lack of commitment but is stopped at the last second when Ahsha reveals why she missed the opening game.
She also explains to Olivia that Pete Davenport is her father and that, that bomb was dropped on her right before the game by Jelena.
This causes Olivia to put and end to Jelena's decisions over her. Ahsha confronts both her mother and her father about the secret but does not get very far with either which annoys her so she goes back home to her boyfriend who is starting to struggle with keeping up to her now famous and fabulous life. Episode four " Rebound " is all about the calendar photo shoot. A photo shoot where each of the Devil Girls is photographed to represent a month of the year.
Jelena offers the month of February to Ahsha, this is of course a trick because every year since Jelena joined the Devil Girls February has always been hers.
Ahsha being new and uncomfortable at the beginning fails the first attempt at the photo shoot which leaves her embarrassed and humiliated. But with the help of a fellow rookie Kyle Hart and the help of Derek Roman, whose house the photo shoot is at, she manages to succeed the second time around. With the photo shoot for Ahsha being done in the water, Olivia convinces them to film on the pool to give them the extra sex appeal for the DVD they were making.
Jelena notices the connection between star athlete Derek Roman and new recruit Ahsha Hayes. In the fifth episode " Keep Away " the Devil Girls perform at the Santa Monica Peer to raise money for their annual charity event and then later for their silent auction. At the performance at the Santa Monica Peer Ahsha invites her boyfriend German, who watches the performance.
German is later approached by Jelena who uses the connection between Derek and Ahsha to play on German's insecurities. During the silent auction which was over taken by Kyle, Derek pays , dollars just to have a dance with the now famous Ahsha Hayes. This makes her boyfriend question what the two have been up to and their relationship just goes downhill from here on.
At the charity event Ahsha also confronts her mother once again demanding to get answers to her many questions. Sloane tells Ahsha about her sordid past, admitting that getting pregnant and leaving Pete saved her life.
